No pics just yet – the Pleney lift isn’t open until next weekend… Will get some pictures up then.
There was definitely something new going in off the Nauchet lift in Les Gets, closed at the moment with a digger in place!
[...] certainly been doing some work over there. Lots of tweaks to the two main downhill courses and as Gareth mentioned, they’re building a new track under the Nauchet lift. I believe the plan is for that lift to [...]
Great job on the GPX files. Will you be doing any more for the other less obvious trails??
We shall see. the plan is to get a couple of ride reports up per week with GPX logs on there. I’m sure most of them will be the more obvious (no less good) trails, but with a few bits that holiday makers don’t get to ride unless they’ve got a guide. Although we can’t, and won’t go advertising trails that aren’t up for mass consumption – that wouldn’t make us popular round here – for that you’ll have to bribe us with Mutzig / Espresso (depending on the time of day)!
Excellent. wasn’t after secret trails just for some of the less ridden ones. Been three time to morzine in the summer (many more in winter) but it’s still hard to find great trails without braking bumps. Like GR5 round Lac Vert and am planning on getting over to Morgins this year. But Mutzig bribes can be arranged. See you at Robbo’s
Hi,i was just wondering what the weather is typically like in morzine at the end of july/aug as im coming over then for a week and am soo praying that it wont be raining!
Good question. The answer is: anything. There is no set time that the weather is always sunny or always rainy – these are the mountains. I couldn’t tell you what the weather will be like next week I’m afraid!
